Photo Essay: Deeper Glories

As I have been here uploading my photos from a trip I took a few weekends ago with my dear friend Katherine, my mouth opens in awe of the places and spaces that God allowed us to encounter over our two and a half days of travel.

And as I've gone through the images, locations, and thought of all the stories I could tell...

I just keep thinking of two words...

Deeper Glories.

That's what He took us to. And that's what I want to share with you now.

In this case I don't want my words to complicate, I just want to share glimpses of this deeper glory and maybe your heart might come alive has mine has at the sights and wonders God has blessed us with here on earth.

Maybe I'll share the stories soon, the little details that make memories all the more sweeter...

Or maybe you'll ask me...

You'll want to know how we got to the hidden beach or climbed up the cliff on the back of a motorcycle to reach our first night's sunset,

or how we thought we ordered lamb when we really ordered conch (yes, the shell...)

or if we got sun burnt in that intense sun and reflection of crystal waters... And where the coconut man came from...

Stories that are worth telling but also worth holding close. Stories that come from the hands of someone else... Who holds the pen I've surrendered long ago. Stories that are shaping me and teaching me and growing me.

And deeper glories that let me know the one from who's thoughts and words formed me.
